Dr Hery Mwandolela is a senior consultant cardiologist with a strong background and expertise in healthcare leadership and clinical service delivery. He is the founder and managing director of Heameda Hospital, located in Bunju, Dare es Salaam. An accomplished and experienced physician, Dr Hery holds a Doctor of Medicine(M.D) and Master of Medicine (M.Med) in Internal Medicine from the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences( MUHAS) and a Master of Science (MSc) in Cardiology from Muhimbili University (under joint training program with the University of Bergen, Norway and Christian Medical College, Vellore, India). He is an accredited cardiologist registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika (MCT) with Registration number MCTOL3000. He is also a certified Aviation Medical Examiner (AME). He boasts over 15 years of clinical cardiology practice, focusing on general and interventional cardiology. He has extensive experience developing and implementing clinical protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs. As the Managing Director of Heameda Hospital, Dr. Hery plays a pivotal role in shaping the hospital's strategic direction and clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and driving the hospital's overall success. In addition, he is a certified Director by the Institute of Directors in Tanzania IoDT.
